If you’re traveling to Miami, consider staying at La Faena Hotel in Miami Beach, a luxury and trendy property that truly delivers a unique guest experience:

This architectural masterpiece designed by Norman Foster, stands as an icon of luxury in the historic Faena District.
The hotel opened in 2015 and offers 169 opulent rooms and suites adorned with rich red velvet, gold leaf, and animal prints. With breathtaking architecture and oceanfront views, Faena Hotel blends modern luxury and Old World glamour.
Unique Hotel Traits
The Living Room
This very aesthetic looking bar is located in the lobby and hosts DJs every Tuesday night with vinyl records.
The Allure Cabaret Shows
These are hosted in the in-house theater on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and tickets start at 100$ per person.
They have choreographers, singers, dancers, musicians, and use a lot of digital technology to make super cool effects throughout the whole show. Is it worth it? 100% yes.
The Faena Rose Membership
This is a super exclusive community of those who breathe and live art and culture. They have a waitlist for this membership and based on some sources, membership starts at 34k per couple annually.
Faena members receive exclusive pricing and VIP treatment at all Faena properties and can enjoy a variety of immersive activities.
Beautiful and Private Garden
This green area is perfect for a little nature escape during your stay, and it connects to the beach. You can get amazing photos here.
Daily Yoga and Meditation
They offer yoga and meditation classes at 25$ per class and are held daily at 9am at their space (Tierra Santa Healing House).
Customer Service Highlights
You know you’re entering a high-quality property when the doorman are the nicest and warmest human beings.
Everyone on the staff including housekeeping, restaurant hosts, front desk, etc. was just so warm and friendly.
Convenience & Location
This property is a true oasis where you don’t really need to leave and it’s connected to the beach. However, if you wanted to get to Lincoln Road or other places in Miami Beach to explore, you’d definitely need to Uber.
Although the pool is small, the beautiful garden next to it is a valuable space that makes up for it and it's a must go if you're staying at this property.
The restaurants and bars in-house are incredible, and it’s a long list, but below are my favorite ones:
Los Fuegos By Francis Mallmann.
Latin American food with high-quality ingredients. They offer a contemporary Asado experience.
Pao by Paul Qui.
Modern Asian cuisine with a fusion of Spanish, French, Japanese, and Filipino. This restaurant has the most beautiful ocean views.
Veranda
This restaurant is mainly for breakfast and lunch and is more casual than the others. It has a nice view of the pool and it's surrounded by plants, making it an ideal lunch spot.
The cuisine is Argentinian, but it definitely gave me Mediterranean vibes.
The grilled artichokes are a must!
Value
This hotel is on the highest end of a 5-star rate range, from 1,875-2,500$ per night (Expedia rate).
The point redemption on Chase does not make logical sense as it’s 90k+ points plus almost 3k for a 2-night stay.
These rates also don’t fluctuate a lot between the high and low seasons.
